chasyn is a scenic artist, originally from just outside of dallas, texas. they are now based out of north carolina.
they graduated from the sargent conservatory of theatre arts at webster university with a BFA in scene painting. after graduating, they moved to new york city and worked on scenery for a variety of projects; from broadway to the new york botanical gardens.
outside of scenic art, chasyn is passionate about painting unicorns and pets, crafting props, and generally creating things that add whimsy to the humdrum of the day to day life.
when not painting, chasyn can be found frolicking in the woods, reading, or cooking.
